We recommend a stay in the ski-in/ski-out Hotel Kurbits apartments - conveniently located just 40 minutes from Scandinavian Mountains Airport. There are a selection of restaurants around the village and a relaxed family-friendly after-ski. Weekly activity programs include evening sledging, snowmobiling, and husky sledding.

The Right Slopes for Me?
Beginner
Excellent: Kläppen is very family orientated with good nursery slopes, and a great selection green runs, many of which are on the top of the mountain allowing even the most novice of skiers to glimpse the wonderful views from the summit.
Intermediate
Good: The uncrowded slopes are a great place to improve and practice with wide runs that pass through the forest.
Advanced
Average: The selection of advanced runs is aimed at newly advanced skiers with a choice of fairly short but steep black runs. There are also three snow parks catering for all levels.
Snowboarding
Good: There are three snow parks in Kläppen which were voted as some of the best in Sweden, with everything you’ll need to work on your freestyle skills.
Cross-Country
Good: Glide through the pristine forest on 53 kilometres of wonderful cross-country trails.

For holidays booked with scheduled flights arriving at Scandinavian Mountains Airport, a shared 40 minute coach transfer will be included to Kläppen ski resort. The option to upgrade to a private transfer or car hire can be chosen instead at time of booking.
For holidays booked with scheduled flights from other airports in the UK and Ireland to Oslo Gardermoen, car hire is included in your package. The journey to Kläppen ski resort is approximately 3 hours. The option to upgrade to a private transfer can be chosen instead at time of booking.
