Book with Confidence - Our Guarantee
In the event of the following occurring up to the departure day of your planned holiday:
- The FCO updates its guidance to advise against all but essential travel to your destination
- Restrictions at your planned holiday country/destination prohibit overseas visitors
Or in the event of one or more of the following occurring up to 14 days in advance of your holiday:
- Imposed quarantine restrictions at your destination
- Imposed quarantine on return to your home country
- We are unable to fulfil our contractual obligations to you due to Covid-19
You can choose to:
- Postpone / Rebook your holiday
- Receive a full refund within 14 days
How can we offer this guarantee?
Monies paid to us are protected in a ring-fenced account until you return from your holiday. In addition, we have agreed with our supplier partners the facility to make cancellations free of charge. This means that if restrictions are in place or are likely to be, or the FCO advise against all but essential travel up to this point we can cancel and refund you in full.
Terms and Conditions
14 days prior to your scheduled departure date, we will evaluate the latest travel advisories as well as proposed changes that would impact your holiday and will decide whether travel plans can go ahead.
If you choose to rebook your holiday, we may need to adjust the cost of your trip to reflect the new dates. Costs can go down or up depending on when and where you choose to travel in the future. We will work with you to find the perfect solution.
Airlines or suppliers we use for your holiday may have more strict booking conditions that do not allow us to make future amendments. If this applies to your holiday, we will advise you at time of booking.
Should UK or local government advice change regarding quarantine restrictions whilst you are on holiday and you choose to curtail your holiday we will offer full assistance in resort. Please ensure your travel insurance covers you for curtailment as costs incurred by you for curtailment will not be met by Scandinavian Travel Ltd or its associated brands.
It is a requirement of our terms and conditions that you have adequate travel insurance in place. Our Covid guarantee does not cover cancellation or curtailment of your holiday should you test positive for the Covid virus prior to or during your holiday. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to ensure you are covered with Covid related cancellation or curtailment.
