It’s that time of year again… The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Festival is back!
Opening this week on Thursday 24th October 2019, you will find us on the Norway Home of Skiing stand from when the doors open on Thursday at 12pm through to Sunday 27th October.
We always have a great time at the festival, and if you haven’t bought your tickets yet here are five great reasons to come and visit...!
Undoubtedly the Festival’s most unique feature, watch as this year’s rising stars and seasoned professionals perform some amazing tricks on the real snow 50ft kicker, aptly named ‘Mount Battersea’!
We’re big foodies at skiNorway and one of our highlights at The Ski & Snowboard Festival is wandering through the authentic Street Food Village and visiting our neighbours at Taste of Norway. A chance to experience a real taste of the mountains is not to be missed!
Amongst others, pioneering explorer, Arctic adventurer and author Sir Ranulph Fiennes will be speaking about his life achievements on Friday 25th October. Known as ‘the world’s greatest living explorer’, Sir Ranulph is ready to inspire guests with plenty of incredible travel stories.
Live music, DJs, merchandise, competitions and great bars - every year the Après ski gets bigger and better!
Each year, the Festival brings together tour operators and resorts from all over the world. Our skiNorway team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding skiing in Norway - so whether you’re a seasoned pro or looking to take the family on their first winter break, we have you covered!
